UCLA Health Procurement & Strategic Sourcing: Request for Proposal

The University of California procurement policies and the California Public Contract Code (Section 10507, et seq.) requires that all purchases for goods and/or services involving an expenditure of more than $100,000 be competitively bid and awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications.  The lowest responsible bidder shall be determined on the basis of one of two methods: 1) cost alone or 2) on a best value basis.

The requirement for competitive bidding shall not apply when it is determined by Procurement that a product or service is unique, proprietary, or match existing.  In this event, a Source Selection and Price Reasonableness Justification Form should be completed and submitted to Procurement for approval.

If you have a purchase transaction that requires a competitive bid, please contact the person below for more information.
